Down-the-line.com / Figure Skating. Well-known figure skating coach Alexander Zhulin says the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the verdict in the Kamila Valieva case.

Previously, the RUSADA Disciplinary Committee found the skater not guilty of violating anti-doping rules. The committee ruled that the athlete was innocent of what had happened.

Zhulin: ‘I’m very happy that Bach rebelled’

“It was clear that WADA would appeal to CAS. Of course, requiring four years of disqualification is unfair. Now everything they do is unfair,” RIA Novosti quotes Zhulin.
