Athletistic/ Others. In the near future, the FSR will be able to move from Europe to Asia. Such a decision can be made on February 28 at a meeting of the Continental Assembly of the Asian Chess Confederation. This was stated by FSR Deputy Chairman Alexander Zhukov.
– Nothing will prevent our transition, since FIDE talks about it. It seems to me that chess is perhaps one of the unique sports where Asian countries as a whole are leading the world. I think the transition to Asia was the right decision on our part, it’s good that FIDE supported it, – quotes Zhukov “Match TV”.
