The Ukrainian national team will not be among the strongest squads at the 2023 European Indoor Championships. It should be noted that this year the winter continental championship will be hosted by Istanbul from 2 to 5 March.
According to the Federation, this year 17 athletes were able to fulfill all the criteria to enter the tournament, but 11 of them made it to the list of participants.
At the same time, only 10 athletes can compete. High jumper Irina Gerashchenko will go to the championship instead. This is the smallest application in the history of the national team.

men’s high jump: Andrey Protsenko, Vadim Kravchuk
pentathlon: Julia Loban
Women’s 60m Hurdles: Anna Plotitsyna
60 meters, men: Stanislav Kovalenko
pole vault: Yana Gladiychuk
shot put: Roman Kokoshko
Ukraine’s long jump and triple jump representative Marina Bekh-Romanchuk will miss the tournament due to a foot injury.
