Rodnina on the case of Valieva: “The IOC, WADA and RUSADA compete in stupidity”
Previously, the Anti-Doping Disciplinary Commission (DAK) ruled that Valieva violated anti-doping rules, but did not see her culpability and negligence in this regard.
“After considering the reasoning behind the decision in this case, rendered by an independent anti-doping dispute resolution body, RUSADA has decided to exercise its right to appeal this decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). high international profile associated with this case, RUSADA does not distinguish it in any way from other anti-doping rule violation cases in order to ensure equal treatment of all persons covered by the World Anti-Doping Code and to protect the interests and rights of all Russian Athletes. RUSADA’s reasoned position was submitted to CAS for an objective and impartial review by the arbitrators.
