The boxer himself is satisfied with this schedule
Promoter Alexander Krasyuk spoke about the upcoming plans for the Ukrainian lightweight boxer – Yaroslav Khartsyz. According to Krasyuk, the boxer will enter the ring in April.
“Khartsyz wants to play amateur, but he has enough time to go professional. Since this is not forbidden, but on the contrary, everyone is allowed, then, probably, for the Ukrainian team this will be the first experiment when a boxer walks in parallel lanes. The first experience of his amateur tournament after a professional fight was successful – he became the winner. Let’s see what happens next, but we really hope that at the Olympics we will get a medal from Khartsyz.”
“We have planned at least four fights for the first year of our cooperation. I think Khartsyz will also box in April.”
“The plan for it is very simple. We will build his professional career before going to the Olympics. God willing, we will have an Olympic champion or medalist who will not only now become a rookie in the profession, but already has a good track record and is ready to shoot at high targets right away. So decided with Yaroslav. It suits him, he likes such a challenge and time optimization.”
25-year-old Khartsyz during his amateur career twice became the champion of Ukraine, and once won a silver medal. Yaroslav as part of the Ukrainian team took part in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
In January Khartsyz successfully started his professional career. As part of the boxing show Knockout Boxing Night in Poland, Yaroslav defeated the Pole Maryan Vesolovsky.
