Krasyuk: Usyk donated much more than 14 million for the restoration of Ukraine

Alexander KrasyukWBA/WBO/IBF/IBO title holder promoter Oleksandr Usykspoke about the boxer’s contribution to the restoration of Ukrainian cities destroyed by the Russian army.

“Unfortunately, I can’t tell you everything. We already know the figure – 14 million donated by Usyk. In fact, this is not so, this figure is much higher. How much Usyk gave from his own pocket, how much his fund collected and how these funds were distributed.

“Usyk himself will never talk about it, but it’s incorrect to talk about it for him. I know for sure that this is a lot, that it does not stop and will not stop. Katya, the wife, has already posted a video on Instagram, when the first house found its owner and is moving to the place.”

“Also, Sasha decided to restore the gym in Bucha, where Linkovsky, a coach, a boxer, our comrade, was shot. This hall was destroyed and Usyk decided to restore this hall so that they could train there in memory of the coach who died there at the hands of the Russian occupiers.”

Earlier, Usyk announced a fundraiser for the restoration of an apartment building in Irpin destroyed by the Russian army. The boxer will personally donate 8 million hryvnia and plans to raise another 4 million.

Also, the Ukrainian boxer’s fund held an auction together with the QMALL cryptocurrency exchange. The entire proceeds – 500 thousand hryvnia – will be transferred to the humanitarian needs of Ukraine.

Early on the morning of February 24, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. Russia’s war against Ukraine has been going on for 367 days.
