Sweden’s Andersson wins gold medal in skiathlon at World Ski Championships

Swedish Ebba Andersson won gold in skiathlon at the World Ski Championships in Slovenia.

The athlete covered 15 km (7.5 km in classic style and 7.5 km in skating) in 38 minutes 11.8 seconds.

Second place was taken by her compatriot Frida Karlson (+22.0 seconds). Bronze was won by Norway’s Astrid-Oire Slind (+48.0).

Russian skiers in the 2022/23 season are suspended from participating in international competitions.
