47 biathletes took part in the race
Ukrainian biathlete Christina Dmitrenko won a bronze medal at the stage IBU Cup which takes place in Canadian Canmore.
Dmitrenko with clean shooting finished a little more than 30 seconds behind the winner of the race – Norwegian Maren Kirkeide. In second place is the Frenchwoman Paula Bothe.
Note that Christina’s sister, Valeria Dmitrenko, also passed the shooting without errors, but became 31st. Nadezhda Belkina made five misses and became 38th.
Recently, the 2023 Biathlon World Cup ended in Oberhof. The Ukrainian national team failed to win a single medal at the Biathlon World Championship for the first time in 14 years.
