Ukrainian won by unanimous decision
Ukrainian Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov won American Logan Storleywho held the interim championship title in that division.
The fight took place as part of the Bellator 291 tournament in Dublin. The Ukrainian dominated in all five rounds, confidently scoring points and inflicting a cut under the opponent’s right eye.
Amosov won by unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45).
In May last year, Amosov was supposed to fight Briton Michael Page, but he refused to fight and remained in Ukraine during the period of Russian military aggression. After the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Amosov joined the ranks of the territorial defense of Irpen, which was under the occupation of Russian troops.
Amosov became the Bellator Champion in June 2021 by defeating Brazilian Douglas Lima via unanimous decision. Yaroslav became the first Ukrainian to win the organization’s championship title.
We are looking at one of the greatest Championship showings EVER from @YaroslavAmosov!
