Tishchenko and Krivonos miss the stage in the Czech Republic, Blashko is questionable
National biathlon team of Ukraine named compound on the seventh World Cup stage in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic).
The composition of the Ukrainian team:
Women: Julia Jima, Anastasia Merkushina, Elena Bilosyuk, Daria Blashko, Lyubov Kipyachenkova.
Men: Dmitry Pidruchny, Anton Dudchenko, Artem Prima, Bogdan Tsymbal, Denis Nasyko.
There are two differences compared to the squad that played at the 2023 World Cup in Oberhof. Artem Tishchenko performs at the IBU Cup in Kenmore, Canada, and Anna Krivonos returned to Ukraine due to her health condition and completed the current international season. The possibility of Daria Blashko’s participation in the races remains questionable.
Recall that Ukraine for the first time in 14 years finished the biathlon world championship without medals.
