Krasyuk: On Saturday we will find out if Usyk-Fury fight will take place or not

The promoter of the Ukrainian world champion has outlined the deadline for negotiations

Alexander KrasyukWBA/WBO/IBF/IBO title holder promoter Oleksandr Usyksaid that the deadline for negotiations with the WBC heavyweight champion team Tyson Fury the unification fight will be next Saturday.

“Saturday is the last day when negotiations between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury’s camp should be completed. Saturday is the deadline we have already set. Last deadline for this to happen. On Saturday, we will find out whether this fight will take place or not. The place we have already booked is Wembley Stadium. We expect up to 100,000 viewers,” the promoter said.

Fury and Usyk plan to hold a face-to-face fight for the title of absolute world champion on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium. Fury’s promoters are urging the Ukrainian to fight in London, as the stadium in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) does not have time to build by the date of the fight.

Deontay Wilder’s promoter Shelly Finkel said that if the Fury-Usyk fight falls through, there will be an opportunity for the Ukrainian to fight Deontay. Alexander Krasyuk said that the backup option for Alexander will be the mandatory contender for the WBA belt Daniel Dubois.
