A Fan ID can be issued on the official portal of the State Services from July 4, 2022. This was reported by the press service of the service.
“A fan card must be received by everyone who will be at the stadium on match day: supporters, organisers, competitors, media professionals,” the website says.
On December 30, 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the introduction of a FAN ID from June 1. The document introduces the concept of a “personalized card to attend a sporting event”. Tickets for sporting events will be sold with a FAN ID. The list of these events is drawn up by the government.
Earlier, fans of a number of RPL clubs announced a boycott of matches where an electronic spectator identification system would be used.
