CSKA president Giner confiscated shares in a Ukrainian bank

He has been under Ukrainian sanctions since October 2022

Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (VAKS) confiscated in favor of the state 88.89% of the shares First Investment Bank (PIN Bank), owned by a citizen of the Russian Federation and President of the Russian football club CSKA Evgeny Giner.

The lawsuit for the confiscation of the asset was filed by the Ministry of Justice, since Giner has been under Ukrainian sanctions since October 2022.

Recently, the State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at the members of the board and the supervisory board and the office of the bank. Investigative actions were carried out to verify information about the legality of the bank receiving and using a 1.6 billion hryvnia loan for refinancing, some of which it received after the start of the active phase of hostilities of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the imposition of sanctions against members of the IOC from Russia. The list includes Elena Isinbayeva, Alexander Popov, Vitaly Smirnov and Shamil Tarpishchev.
