Tsurenko did not finish the match of the first round of the tournament in Monterrey

The Ukrainian won the first set against Donna Vekic, but was unable to continue the match due to an elbow injury.

Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko due to injury, she could not finish the match of the first round of the tournament WTA 250 in Monterrey (Mexico).

The Ukrainian met with the third seeded Donna Vekic from Croatia. Tsurenko won the first set, but later she had problems with her elbow. Lesya called a doctor to the court, and eventually withdrew from the tournament.

Earlier, Tsurenko was also unable to finish the match of the first round of the tournament in Mexican Merida. At the beginning of the second game of the duel with Katerina Sinyakova from the Czech Republic, the Ukrainian refused to fight due to a foot injury.

Tsurenko made it to the main draw of the tournament in Monterrey through qualification. The Ukrainian defeated Camilla Rosatello from Italy, and then dealt with Ana Koniukh from Croatia.
