Ultras Vorskla: We will not allow Kravchuk and Ponomarenko to humiliate the colors of our club

Fans dissatisfied with club’s transfer policy

Ultras Poltava Vorsklawho are in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made a video message where they declared their distrust of the club’s transfer policy after the transfer of two players – Andrey Kravchuk And Ivan Ponomarenko.

“We, the fighters of the separate detachment “Centuria Poltava” and the active fist of the fan movement of the Poltava Vorskla, express dissatisfaction with the actions of the club and the selection department of our club. The fact is that the club signed two players: Andryushka Kravchuk, who already managed to play for the Moscow torpedo during the Russian-Ukrainian war, and Vanka Ponomarenko, who also managed to play for the occupying authorities in the Crimean championship.

“We express our dissatisfaction with these players. We will not allow these people to degrade the colors of our club, to have these people wear our emblem. I personally appeal to Alexander Funderat, the sports director of the Poltava Vorskla. Alexander Anatolyevich, do your job with dignity. We will not allow you to degrade our colors and our emblem. We have the honor. Glory to Ukraine!”

Vorskla signed a two-year contract with Kravchuk last summer. The defender’s previous club was Torpedo Moscow, which he left in March 2022 after Russian troops invaded Ukraine. In the UPL, Andriy played for the Donetsk Olympic.

In February, the Poltava team signed goalkeeper Ponomarenko, who played in PFC Lviv. He signed a contract under the “1 + 1” scheme. In 2019, he defended the colors of Krymteplitsa in the Crimean Championship.

The Poltava club is in the 9th place in the UPL standings. In the first match after the resumption of the championship, the team of Viktor Skrypnyk will play with Zorya on March 5.
