Another famous Ukrainian athlete died in the war against the Russian invaders. During the defense of the Donetsk region, Kremlin troops killed World Kickboxing Cup winner Oleg Rysak.

According to the Sports Committee of Ukraine, the athlete died on October 24, but it was only now that his death became known. It is noteworthy that Rysak died on his birthday, on October 24 he turned 25 years old.

Oleg is the winner of the WAKO World and European Kickboxing Cup in the full contact section in 2016, a multiple champion of Ukraine, and has the title of Candidate Master of Sports.

In 2019, the athlete left to defend his homeland and joined the Armed Forces.
