A year of Ukrainian football during a full-scale war
Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) presented a documentary film about life in football in Ukraine in the first year of a full-scale military invasion by Russia.
The plot of the film “Game of the Indestructible” tells about the difficulties and challenges of Ukrainian football. The film was attended by the players of the Ukrainian national team – Andriy Yarmolenko, Taras Stepanenko, Alexander Karavaev and others.
In addition, the film tells the stories of Ukrainian referees – Dmitry Kubryak, Irina Petrova and Kateryna Monzul, as well as the fate of the leaders of regional football associations who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Early on the morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. Russia’s war against Ukraine continues for the 373rd day.
