The Ukrainian performed brilliantly in competitions on uneven bars
Ukrainian athlete Anna Lashchevskaya triumphed on stage of the World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which takes place in Doha (Qatar).
15-year-old Lashchevskaya successfully competed on uneven bars. Anna qualified for the final with the third result.
However, in the decisive performance, Lashchevskaya scored 13,500 points with a difficulty factor of 5.6. The Ukrainian beat Sweden’s Natalie Westlund and Mihako Serita of Japan (both scored 13.233).
Note that one step away from the podium with a mark of 13,000, another Ukrainian gymnast stopped – Elizaveta Gubareva.
Earlier, Ukrainian gymnast Ilya Kovtun won a gold medal at the first stage of the World Cup in Cottbus, Germany.
Sometimes the best is saved for last: Anna Lashchevska 🇺🇦 delivers an inbar stalder to Maloney to Pak. Inbar blind to Jaeger. She finishes with a toe stalder full, right atop the bar, to a full-twisting double tuck dismount! 13.5 is good for 🥇 in her first #FIGWorldCup final. pic.twitter.com/d0B6ycANwT
