Team of Ukraine took third place in the junior biathlon world championshipwhich takes place in Kazakhstan.
The team won bronze in the mixed relay. As part of the blue-yellows were Elena Gorodnaya, Alexandra Merkushina, Bogdan Borkovsky and Mikhail Khmil.
The Ukrainian team used 16 extra rounds and ran 3 penalty loops. At the last frontier, the Ukrainians won a medal from the Italian team.
Recall that on Saturday the pursuit will take place at the World Cup stage in Czech Nove Mesto. The start of the men’s race is at 14:50 Kyiv time, the women’s race starts at 16:45.
