Athletistic/ Figure Skating. On Saturday, March 4, in St. Petersburg, the country’s best figure skaters began skating as part of the final of the Russian Grand Prix.
The dance duos were the first to enter the ice of the luxurious Yubileiny arena. Elizaveta Shanaeva and Pavel Drozd showed the best result today. For their rhythmic dance, the wards of Alexander Zhulin scored 81.40 points.
The second Saturdays were Vasilisa Kaganovskaya and Valery Angelopol. The performance of figure skaters from the group of Anzhelika Krylova was assessed by the jury at 80.95 points.

The second result was shown by local fan favorite Elizaveta Tuktamysheva. The ward of legendary Alexei Mishin also performed a perfect triple axel, but after that she only performed a double toe loop in combination with a triple lutz, losing valuable points. Tuktamysheva’s final score is 81.90 points.
The leading trio was closed by the great favorite of the competition Kamila Valieva. Today Kami failed to perform a triplexel, although she successfully jumped a triple flip and a combination of a triple lutz – a triple toe curl. As a result, the brightest star in Eteri Tutberidze’s team scored 78.97 points.

After the ladies, the competitive relay of the Grand Prix Final was taken over by representatives of sporting couples.
The first line of a hard fight managed to defend Alexandra Boikova and Dmitry Kozlovsky from St. Petersburg. A couple from Artur Minchuk’s group scored 83.73 points in a short dance at their home tournament.
The second result, with a minimum gap with the leaders, was shown by Muscovites Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov. Eteri Tutberidze’s team skaters finished the rental with 83.68 points.
Third place was taken by representatives of St. Petersburg Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov. The wards of Tamara Moskvina, who even before the start of the tournament called themselves the favorites in the final, today scored only 79.80 points.

The last on the Yubileiny ice were single men. The leadership at the end of the day of competition was taken by Mark Kondratyuk. A student of Svetlana Sokolovskaya scored 102.86 points on Saturday. Note that Alexandra Trusova came to the stands of the Saint Petersburg Sports Palace today to support the skater, who was absent from the tournament due to a back injury.
