The winners of the race in Nove Mesto were French biathletes.
On Sunday, March 5, on the last day of competition of the seventh stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Czech Nove Mesto, a mixed relay race was held.
The national team of Ukraine in this discipline is represented by Yulia Dzhima, Elena Bilosyuk, Artem Pryma and Anton Dudchenko.
Ukrainian biathletes very successfully handled the women’s part of the race. Jima, who started tenth, slightly improved his position by passing the baton to ninth. Bilosyuk in the second period and completely brought the Ukrainian team to third place.

Prima maintained the set speed and after the second firing line, despite a miss and an additional round, it still came out second. However, losing speed, the Ukrainian again passed the baton to the third.
Dudchenko had a perfect first shot and a third almost to the last. However, in the decisive shooting range, he made two misses and earned a penalty loop, eliminating hopes for the first World Cup medal of the season.
The French biathletes won the mixed relay in Nove Mesto, more than half a minute ahead of the representatives of Sweden, who became second, and the Norwegians, who closed the top three.
