Ukrainian took a height of 2.29 meters
Ukrainian high jumper Andrey Protsenko won a silver medal in European Athletics Championships 2023 in room.
The Ukrainian managed to take the height of 2.29 m and claimed the “gold” with this result. Duve Amels from the Netherlands and Thomas Karmoy from Belgium reached the same mark, but spent more attempts.
Amels managed to update his personal record by jumping 2.31 m. Protsenko failed to take a height of 2.33 m, after which the Dutchman won gold.
For Ukraine, Andriy’s medal was the fourth at the European Championships 2023 indoors. Earlier, Roman Kokoshko won a bronze medal at the 2023 European Championships in the shot put. Also in the high jump sector, Yaroslav Maguchy became the European champion, and Ekaterina Tabashnik won bronze.
