Down-the-line.com / Figure Skating. The silver medalist of the 2018 Olympics in the team championship, Russian Alexander Enbert, shared his impressions of the final of the Russian Grand Prix. According to Enbert, figure skaters performed better than participants in the European Championship, which was held without representatives of Russia.

“I have good impressions, it turned out to be a wonderful tournament in all disciplines. This is the first Grand Prix final in the history of Russian figure skating, and it turned out very cool and interesting , I enjoyed watching it. Tuktamysheva, Akatieva , Valieva and Petrosyan had great skates. Adelia is now in great shape, technical score and content plays a huge role, she put in amazing performances in three quarters, the first two were perfect, she had the hardest content, beautiful, easy skating and a natural first place, absolutely no questions.

And of course, I want to underline the very good skating of Lisa, she is now learning the quarter sheepskin coat, it will help her to fight for the high places. Tuktamysheva executed two triple axes well, the second was a little worse. I am very happy that she has consistently performed in tournaments so far, adding her skating each time.

It was the last official rental of this season and the tournament was very emotional. It was the fun of high class figure skating. We watched until the Grand Prix final of the European Championship, where there were no Russians, but our skaters put in even more interesting performances”, quotes Enbert, Metaratings.

Adelia Petrosyan became the winner of the tournament. Second place was taken by Kamila Valieva, and third – by Elizaveta Tuktamysheva.
