Athletes and federations around the world continue to support our country in the fight against Putin’s occupiers.
The new season in Major League Baseball has already begun in the United States. The opening took place at the stadium in Chicago, before the match between the local Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers.
This year’s ceremony is special. For the first time the season opened with a Ukrainian anthem.
And in general, the event focused on Ukraine and its struggle against the Russian occupiers. The flags of Ukraine were hung in the stadium and near it.

The Ukraine anthem was performed by the choir of the Chicago branch of the Union of Ukrainian Youth of the USA named Mykola Pavlushkov. At the end, the chorus shouted: “Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes.”

Note that the Chicago Cubs won the first game of the season, beating opponents from Milwaukee 5: 4.
