Ukrainian boxer Khegay: The fate of Usyk-Fury fight will depend on the shape of the opponents

Usyk is heavily underestimated in his possible fight with Fury

Ukrainian featherweight boxer Arnold Khegai estimated the chances of the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk V unification battle with WBC title holder Tyson Fury.

“I think Tyson Fury will be the favorite for this fight, as Usyk is underestimated by many. The Ukrainian is underestimated in the same way as it was on the eve of his first fight with Anthony Joshua.

“Tyson Fury? He is dangerous because on the eve of each fight he does very serious work in the camp. To be honest, I have not seen a fight in which he was very tired. Even in the same fight with Deontay Wilder, when he fell in the 11th round, then he got up and continued to box.”

“He also has very large dimensions, much larger than Usyk. And he not only has such dimensions, he moves well with them. ”

“Alexander should be very well prepared for this fight. Even more ready than he does all the time. With Fury, Usyk will need to move even more, because the Briton, as I said, breathes very well.

“The fate of the fight will depend on what form Fury will be in on this particular evening, and what Usyk will be in. I think the Ukrainian has every chance of winning.”

Fury and Usyk plan to hold a face-to-face fight for the title of absolute world champion on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium. At the same time, promoter Eddie Hearn believes that the fight will still be held in Saudi Arabia.

Promoter Frank Warren has said that if negotiations for a unification bout between Usyk and Fury are not finalized soon, he will explore other options for his client. The British father, John Fury, is sure that the distribution of the fee should be 60/40 in favor of Tyson, but the Ukrainian side wants 50/50.
