Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Three-time Olympic champion, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irina Rodnina believes that it is impossible for Alina Zagitova and Evgenia Medvedeva to return to official competitions.
“Forget it already, they have finished their sports career and are living a good life. They are now competing in trade. And in official rentals there are people who can play without them. They can come with numbers demonstration if necessary,” Rodnina said.
Alina Zagitova and Evgenia Medvedeva have not played professionally since the end of 2019. Despite this, the two skaters have not made official statements about the end of their sports careers.
