The famous Ukrainian athlete summed up his performances at the European Winter Championship.
Andrey Protsenko summed up his performances during the winter. Recall that the Ukrainian won a silver medal at the European Athletics Championships in the high jump sector.
The athlete admitted that he experiences only the best emotions from his performances, but they all faded before the news from Ukraine. Protsenko also said that he wants to go home as soon as possible.
“So another winter season has ended. I appreciate everyone who cheered for me and supported me. Thank you! This sports season has been very bright, but news from home covers all joy. I want to go back there and train. But, unfortunately, it is very dangerous , and even the whole sports infrastructure needs to be restored after the destruction that Russia is doing every day.
But I have the opportunity to train, for which many thanks and respect to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine and the Troop. These are the people thanks to whom we survive and fight. I also thank everyone who helped Ukrainians and Ukraine around the world and in their own land. In small steps, all these people are bringing the country closer to victory! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes,” wrote Protsenko.
