The blue-yellows have three games to reach the European championship
Men’s team Ukraine lost in handball Austria in the third round of qualifying for Euro 2024 – 31:38.
Blue-yellow with a difference of five goals lost the first half of the meeting (13:18). After the break, Ukraine failed to return to the game – Austria increased the gap to seven goals.
In the standings, Ukraine is in fourth place with two points. Ahead are the Faroe Islands, Romania and Austria, which has not lost in any round. On March 11, the blue-yellows will again play with Austria.
The top two teams from each qualifying group will advance to the finals of Euro 2024, as well as the top four teams that finished third in their quartets.
The European Championship will be held on January 10-28, 2024. In total, 24 teams will play in Euro 2024. Four participants in the continental championship are already known: Germany (host country), Sweden (current European champion), Spain and Denmark (silver and bronze medalists of Euro 2022).
