Ukrainian is the leader of the team
Ukrainian defender Alexander Zinchenko recognized for the second time in a row best player of the month V Arsenale. With 49% of the vote, Alexander was ahead of Gabriel and Bukayo Saka.
In February, the Ukrainian played five games for the Gunners in all tournaments. Also last month, Alexander scored his debut goal for the London club – in a game with Aston Villa.
Note that Zinchenko in January also became the best player of Arsenal according to the fans. Then, in the voting, the Ukrainian was ahead of Eddie Nketia and Martin Odegaard.
In total, the Ukrainian defender has 24 games for the Gunners (one goal and two assists). His contract with Arsenal expires at the end of June 2026.
Mikel Arteta’s team is in first place in the Premier League. Arsenal will face Fulham on March 12.
