Gilberto Mendoza confirmed that a fight for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion will take place.
WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) has agreed to fight WBC title holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs).
WBA President Gilberto Mendoza has issued a statement regarding the title fight. According to the functionary, he received confirmation from the Ukrainian and British teams about the match agreement.

The parties asked for time to work on the contract to close the deal.

It is worth noting that if Usyk and Fury do not agree on a fight, then the Ukrainian will be obliged to defend against Daniel Dubois.
Usyk-Fury is expected to take place on April 29 in the UK.
