Former New Zealand champion to help Fury prepare for Usyk fight

Joseph Parker joined the British champion team.

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) has started preparing for the fight against WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF title holder Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).

The British boxer published a post on Instagram stories where he said that former WBO division champion Joseph Parker will help him.

“My good friend and brother Joseph Parker flew in for sparring, we’re doing 10-12 rounds tonight. George Lockhart has been here for a few days now so we’re ready to rock and roll.

Usyk, you’ve been warned, you’ve been told, 6 weeks, suck, we’re coming for you. Sparta,” Fury said.

Note that the title fight is scheduled for April 29.

Earlier, the President of the WBA issued a statement regarding the fight between Usyk and Fury.
