Van Leeuwen’s team hasn’t lost in six games in a row.
In the match of the 17th round of the championship of Ukraine Dawn confidently won Lviv with a score of 3:1. The meeting took place in Kyiv at the stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky.
Patrick van Leeuwen’s team opened the scoring in the first half – Nazariy Rusin scored. After the break, Zorya scored two more goals with the efforts of Maxim Imerekov and Sergei Buletsa. At the end of the match, Lvov managed to win back one ball after an accurate shot by Vladislav Bugay, but Oleg Dulub’s team was not enough for more.
Zorya scored 34 points and is third in the UPL standings. The Luhansk team have not lost in six rounds in a row. Lviv is in the last position.
In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Zorya will play against Dynamo, and Lviv will play against Kryvbas.
