Ukrainian biathletes finished the race in fifth position.
On Saturday, March 11, at the eighth stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Östersund, Sweden, the men’s teams competed in the last relay of the season.
Even speaking as the second team without leaders, the brothers Be and Sturla Legreida, who fell ill with the coronavirus, the Norwegian team celebrated the victory in the race. In their next victory, the Norwegians only strengthened their lead in the men’s relay standings by winning the Small Crystal Globe. The second in Östersund was the French, and the German team closed the top three on the podium.
