The company operates in Ukraine legally, under valid Ukrainian licenses
Favbet reported that no sanctions were applied against the company. Favbet is not on the sanctions lists because it operates exclusively on the territory of Ukraine and in a number of countries of the European Union – Croatia, Romania and Malta.
Representatives of the company appealed to the media with a request to adhere to the standards of journalism, study the source in detail and not spread fakes about Favbet and the Favbet Foundation., 95% of whose projects today are reoriented to help the country, migrants and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Important! Favbet, as a leading market operator, operates legally in Ukraine, under valid Ukrainian licenses. No sanctions have been imposed on the Favbet group of companies. The wave of black PR about the Favbet company, which was picked up by some Ukrainian media, is planned and violates all journalism standards,” the company said in a statement.
March 10 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the imposition of sanctions against a number of Russian betting companies and lotteries for a period of 50 years. The list includes 287 legal entities and 120 individuals.
