The blue-yellows missed a five-goal lead
Men’s team Ukraine lost again in handball Austria in the selection for Euro 2024 – 28:31.
In the third round, the blue-yellows led with a difference of five goals, but could not keep the lead at the end of the second half. Note that in the last round Ukraine also lost to Austria (31:38).
In the standings our team takes the third place with two points. Ahead – Austria and Romania, behind the Faroe Islands. On April 26, the blue-yellows will play with the Faroe Islands.
The top two teams from each qualifying group will advance to the finals of Euro 2024, as well as the top four teams that finished third in their quartets.
The European Championship will be held on January 10-28, 2024. In total, 24 teams will play in Euro 2024. Four participants in the continental championship are already known: Germany (host country), Sweden (current European champion), Spain and Denmark (silver and bronze medalists of Euro 2022).
