The second gold of Ukraine in Portugal
Ukrainian athlete Arthur Felfner became Throwing European Cup winner in Leiria, Portugal.
Felfner won gold in the javelin throw in the U-23 category. He threw the javelin at 80.09 on his first attempt, and that was enough to win. The Ukrainian was 7.5 meters ahead of the nearest competitor – the Frenchman Lenny Brissot.
In Leiria, Ukraine has already won three medals. Earlier, Mikhail Kokhan won gold in the hammer throw, and Mikhail Brudin won the silver medal in the discus throw.
