Olympic champion Kamila Valieva will perform with an indicative number as part of the final of the Moscow Sports Cup in figure skating, reports the press service of the tournament.
The event will take place on April 23 at the Luzhniki Small Sports Arena. Previously, the skater performed on one of the Cup stages in February.
– It’s great to have the opportunity to compete again in the Moscow Sports Cup, especially the final which promises to be spectacular! A demonstration performance within the framework of the Cup is both a good opportunity to work on elements in conditions close to those of the competition, and an additional incentive, because young skaters will follow my performance, for whom I can become a example. I managed to watch the competition of the guys in the 4th stage, where I competed, and I can say that they really have a bright future, quotes the Valieva tournament press service.
The Moscow Sports Cup in Figure Skating is a youth team competition between athletes aged 6-12. Competitions are held between teams of youth categories I and II, as well as sports categories I and II in men’s and women’s individual skating according to a free program.
