Our champion plans to visit the Ukrainian military
Ukrainian Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov said he was planning go to the front line to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine And named his next opponent.
“The support has been insane and it’s nice to have a lot of support from the military. They were somehow very charged and gave a lot of energy. And now there are plans to go to the guys. So far, I can’t say exactly where, but I’m planning a little, and I think that in a week, one and a half or two, I’ll go.”
“The next opponent, I think it will be Jason Jackson, because he is the first in the ranking. I would like to fight in September. I think 6 months before the fight, in order to recover a little, now I will gain a lot of weight, then I will lose it little by little.
In his last fight, Amosov defeated Logan Storley by unanimous decision and defended the title. After the fight, the Ukrainian addressed a message to the world and thanked the Armed Forces of Ukraine and everyone who helps our country.
Recall that Amosov became the Bellator champion in June 2021, defeating the Brazilian Douglas Lima by unanimous decision. Yaroslav became the first Ukrainian to win the organization’s championship title.
