The former athlete is on a ventilator and cannot breathe on his own. If the arm is amputated, there is a risk of cardiac arrest. Until now, the body itself is struggling with sepsis, but it is weak enough for this.
Kostomarov was hospitalized on January 10. Doctors saved the skater’s life, but due to operations, the athlete began to experience many complications.
