It became known about another heavy loss for Ukrainian sports. The Athletics Federation of Ukraine announced the death of high jumper Roman Polishchuk.
According to the organization, the tragedy happened a few days ago. A student of Irina Pustovoit died near Bakhmut, defending Kremlin troops from occupation.
“Terrible losses, painful losses. Our task is to prevent them. Let’s honor the memory of the hero and donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine as regularly as possible. For if they are not, then nobody. Glory to the hero. Glory to Ukraine. We will take revenge,” the Athletics Federation of Ukraine said in a statement.
Recall that earlier in the battle with the invaders, a famous Ukrainian kickboxer died.
