Athletistic/ Others. Naum Rashkovsky, two-time RSFSR chess champion, honored coach of Russia, died yesterday March 14 at the age of 76 after an illness.

“On March 14, 2023, after a serious illness, the international grandmaster, double champion of the RSFSR, honored coach of Russia Naum Nikolayevich Rashkovsky passed away. The Russian Chess Federation expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Naum Nikolayevich,” the press service of the Russian Chess Federation said.

Rashkovsky was the last coach under whose leadership the men’s national team won the Tournament of Nations.
