According to , the management of the major national federations is convinced that the decision to raise the age limit in figure skating at the Congress of the International Skating Union (ISU) will be taken almost unanimously.
Earlier, reported that the ISU Council has presented a proposal to gradually raise the age limit from 15 to 17, it will be discussed at the congress. The only federation that has openly opposed this initiative is the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR).
The ISU Congress will be held in Phuket from June 6-10.
