Olympic cross-country skiing champion Veronika Stepanova announced that she would not participate in the first races of the Russian Championship in Tyumen for health reasons.
– I miss the first races of the Russian Championship in Tyumen. If the doctor and coach give the green light, the others will run away. It’s unpleasant to miss the competitions for which you have prepared all year, but I only race when I am completely healthy,” Stepanova wrote on her Telegram channel.
The tournament will take place in Tyumen from March 18 to 26.
