Ukrainian athletes finished the Josef Odložil Memorial athlete tournament without gold medals. In total, in competitions in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, our athletes won three awards – two silver and one bronze.
Yana Gladiychuk came second in the pole vault. The silver was brought to the Ukrainian at a height of 4.5 meters – a record for an athlete.
Yulia Chumachenko won the second silver for Ukraine in the high jump sector. He opened his summer season with a mark of 1.87 m. This mark was occupied by the Ukrainian woman on the second attempt.
Bronze on account of Sergei Nikiforov in the long jump. His result is 7.62 m. Note that the tournament in Prague is the first for the athlete in 2022.
