Women’s futsal team of Ukraine reached the final for the first time in history European championship.
In the semi-finals of Euro 2023, the blue-and-yellows beat the Hungarian team 2-1 in strong-willed style. In the first half, the teams exchanged goals between Gorvat and Shulgi.
Anna Shulga brought victory to Ukraine in the middle of the second half, having successfully played on the rebound after a corner kick. The end of the meeting took place with the fifth field from Hungary, but the blue-yellows kept the winning score.
In the final, the team of Oleg Shaitanov will play with Spain, which defeated Portugal (3:2). The match between Ukraine and Spain is scheduled for Sunday, March 19. The game starts at 21:00 Kyiv time.
At Euro 2019, our team took fourth place. At the European Championship 2022, which took place in the Portuguese Gondomar, Shaitanov’s wards defeated Hungary in the match for third place – 2:1.
