The striker hopes to recover for the match against Rennes on Sunday

Attack Lionel Messi left training early PSG week due to problems with the adductor muscle.

The Argentine felt discomfort on Tuesday, because of which he missed a number of classes. It is noted that on Friday the striker has already trained with the team and hopes to play in the next match of the Parisians.

Earlier it was reported that PSG could not agree with Messi on a new contract. After the victorious 2022 World Cup, the Argentinean’s financial requirements have changed, and the club was not ready for this.

Messi’s current deal with PSG expires in the summer of 2023. This season, Lionel has scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists in 31 matches for the Parisians.

PSG lead the French championship, 10 points ahead of Marseille Ruslan Malinovsky. The next match the Parisians will play with Rennes on 19 March.
