Stupak believes the Tyumen cross-country circuit in the Czech Republic is not for sprinters

Julia Stupak admitted that it was a pity for her not to qualify for the sprint final at the Russian Ski Championship. Of course, the Tyumen racing circle is not for sprinters.

Competitions are held on Saturdays in Tyumen. Stupak finished fifth in the semis, 2.08 seconds behind Natalia Nepryaeva .

– The semi-final is not the ultimate dream?

Yes, there is no limit.

– What went wrong?

It’s okay, I felt good. I didn’t think the girls would pass me so easily on deployment.

– Is it your own mistake?

– Not even a mistake, but a technical moment of the circle. On this lap, those who went better on the descent often win. Although today it is not about Natakha (Natalya Nepryaeva). It’s time to change this finish, it’s quite a shame to lose like that.

– Have you run this configuration before?

– No, I think this circle is not for sprinters. It is difficult for sprinters, this can be seen by qualifying, because there are a lot of girls running long distances, – the match TV correspondent quoted Stupak.
