Athletistic/ Figure Skating. Olympic ice dance champion Natalya Bestemyanova believes women’s figure skating in Russia is at a higher level than the world.
At the same time, Bestemyanova noted that single men still have a long way to go to catch up with world leaders.
“When it comes to women’s singles and pair skating, we’re now a few heads higher than the whole world. After our competitions, watching internationals in those types isn’t that interesting, there’s no what a wonder. If we are talking about men’s skating and dancing, then we have something to do,” Bestemyanova said as quoted by TASS.
