“Accepted and accepted. Where can we play?” – Zhulin on raising the age limit in figure skating

Russian coach Alexander Zhulin talked about raising the age limit in figure skating.

Earlier, the International Skating Union (ISU) Congress adopted the organisation’s Council’s proposal to gradually raise the age limit to 17.

“I don’t care if I raise the age limit. Accepted and accepted. We do not care? Where can we perform? The bigger question now is when will we finally be able to play? Nothing else matters. We will always beat everyone no matter what they come up with. It’s so understandable. The ISU can make the decisions it wants. We have talented children of all ages. In any case, the Russian girls will be the best and will continue to occupy the first place as soon as the right to speak is returned to us,” quotes Sport24 Zhulin.

Next season, the bar for participating in adult competitions will remain at the current level – 15 years. In the 2023/24 season, the age limit will be raised to 16, and in 2024/25 to 17.
