Menkov finished third in the long jump at the Znamensky Memorial in Moscow

2013 World Champion Alexander Menkov took third place in the long jump at the Znamensky Brothers Memorial athletics tournament, which is held in Moscow.

The victory was won by Danil Chechela, in the best of attempts he showed the result of 7.90 meters. Artem Chermoshansky took second place – 7.70m Menkov finished third with a score of 7.57m.

In the women’s long jump, Ekaterina Levitskaya (6.46 meters) excelled, Elena Sokolova (6.43) was second, Veronika Semashko (6.40) was third.

Polina Knoroz won the pole vault with a score of 4.50 meters. Silver and bronze went to Aksana Gataullina (4.45) and Tatyana Kalinina (4.30) respectively. In the same discipline among men, Ilya Prosvirin (5.40) celebrated the victory, Denis Akinshin (5.30) became second, Ilya Dolbin and Ilya Mudrov (5.30) shared third-fourth places .
